Kids LUV® Juice was born out of a parent’s desire to provide healthy, tasty, and fun drink options for their kids. As parents ourselves, we know how hard it can be to get your little ones to drink enough water and how tempting it is to just give them sugary juice boxes or soda. We wanted to create a drink that makes hydration exciting and combines the nutritional benefits that growing kids need.
After months of researching, testing, and sampling, we developed a line of delicious vitamin-infused water with unique flavors that kids genuinely love. Our electrolyte-packed waters provide superior hydration and feature a proprietary blend of 12 essential vitamins and minerals that support immunity, growth, and development.
In 2019, we had the amazing opportunity to showcase Kids LUV® on ABC’s Shark Tank. The Sharks loved our concept of healthy, low-sugar kids drinks and we secured an investment deal with Mark Cuban to help grow our business nationwide. Since our episode aired, we’ve expanded distribution across the country and thousands of families have made Kids LUV a staple in their homes.

Our Story
Kids LUV® was founded in 2017 by husband and wife team Eric and Jessica Hanson of San Diego, California. As parents of two young children, Taylor and Blake, Eric and Jessica were constantly searching for nutritious snacks and drinks without artificial additives. They realized there was a lack of healthy beverage options for kids that also tasted great.
After becoming frustrated with sugary juice boxes and artificial “vitamin” drinks, Eric and Jessica, who both have backgrounds in nutrition, made it their mission to create a line of drinks that kids actually enjoy and parents can feel good about.
After months of testing different ingredient combinations, they finalized their proprietary vitamin blend and four flavors – Orange Mango, Mixed Berry, Strawberry Coconut, and Fruit Punch. They focused on making the drinks lightly sweetened with natural stevia and used child-friendly ingredients like filtered water, non-GMO citric acid, fruit juice, and organic flavors.
In 2017, they began selling their vitamin waters at local farmer’s markets and received tremendous positive feedback from parents and children. Within a year, Kids LUV was being sold in over 50 stores across Southern California.
In 2019, Eric and Jessica applied to showcase their business on ABC’s Shark Tank. After a competitive application process, they were selected to film an episode for Season 10. They pitched Kids LUV to the Sharks and explained their mission to provide parents with a tasty, low-sugar, vitamin-packed drink option for children.
The Sharks loved the product and Kids LUV secured an investment deal with Mark Cuban. With Mark’s expertise and capital, Kids LUV rapidly expanded distribution into retail chains across the U.S.
Today, Kids LUV is sold in over 3,000 grocery and convenience stores nationwide and is one of the fastest growing kids’ beverage brands in America. The company has also partnered with major online retailers like Amazon and Walmart.com to make their vitamin waters accessible to families everywhere.
Eric and Jessica remain passionately involved in daily operations. They love hearing feedback from parents about how much their kids enjoy Kids LUV. The company donates a portion of profits each year to programs providing nutrition and vitamins to children in underserved communities.

- Dr. Linda Pratt – Pediatrician and Nutrition Specialist who developed our signature vitamin blend. With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Pratt ensures our drinks provide optimal nutrition for growing kids.
- Todd Calderwood – Head of Operations oversees supply chain, production, and inventory management. Todd has a background in the beverage industry.
- Sarah Kim – Creative Director leads branding, packaging design, and marketing campaigns. Sarah has worked with top brands like Disney and Mattel.
- Diego Ortiz – Sales Director manages account relationships and helps expand retail distribution. Diego has launched new products into over 10,000 stores.
- Alexa Thompson – Customer Relations Manager provides world-class support and service to our retail partners and consumers.
